待分離的物料經進料管加入高速旋轉的離心機轉鼓內，在離心場的作用下，物料經濾布實現過濾，液相經出液管排出，固相則被截留在轉鼓內。當物料被加滿時，停止進料，對濾餅進行洗滌，同時將洗滌液濾出。離心機繼續旋轉，對濾餅進行甩干。濾餅達到分離要求后，離心機降速，通過刮刀將濾餅刮下從底部排出機外。離心機再降速，氣動拉袋裝置上下往復運動，將殘余濾餅抖落，實現濾餅的清除從而實現濾布再生。
